United States v. Arch Coal, Inc.

A settling CWA defendant and 14 of its subsidiaries that violated the limits of an NPDES permit by discharging pollutants into state waters and waters of the United States must pay a $2 million civil penalty and must perform injunctive relief, including compliance, data-tracking and evaluation, and response measures.
