Under a proposed settlement agreement concerning contamination at the Raritan Bay Slag Superfund site, a settling CERCLA defendant must pay the United States $2.2 million, $1.76 million of which will be allocated to EPA and $440,000 of which will be allocated to DOI and NOAA.
