NMFS announced a 12-month finding on a petition to delist the Snake River fall-run Chinook salmon evolutionarily significant unit under the ESA; the agency found that delisting of the threatened species is not warranted at this time and concluded that the species is likely to become an endangered species within the foreseeable future throughout all or a significant portion of its range.
