The Maine Department of Marine Resources is proposing changes to Code Me. R. §2016-004, chapter 25.45, concerning size and possession limits for Jonah Crabs. The amendments would make it illegal to keep crabs under 4.75 inches or crabs that are female, egg-bearing, or deformed. They would also establish limits to recreational catches.
