A settling CERCLA defendant responsible for violations at Operable Unit 1 of the Del Amo Superfund site, a former synthetic rubber plant, in Los Angeles County, California, must pay $1,200,000 to the United States for past response costs, must pay $63,993.81 in past response costs to the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, and must pay future response costs to both entities for overseeing implementation of the EPA-selected remedial action.
