Under an amendment to a 2001 consent decree concerning the Tri-Cities Barrel Superfund site in Fenton, New York, the terms of the active groundwater remediation of the soils, sediments, and groundwater at the site were changed to a process of monitoring natural attenuation due to a 2011 modification by EPA.
