Under a proposed partial consent decree concerning CERCLA violations at 19 historical uranium mines located on the Navajo Nation Reservation in and around Cameron, Arizona, a gas company will deposit $502,500, plus interest, into a special account for cleanup of the mine sites; the consent decree does not resolve claims and counterclaims for past and future response costs incurred at the sites.
