EPA approved the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality as the initial recipient for electronic data reporting for all NPDES data groups except for "No. 4 - Sewage Sludge/Biosolids Annual Program Reports." 

EPA postponed the compliance deadlines for implementation of phase two of the NPDES electronic reporting rule, which requires the Agency and states to modernize CWA reporting.

EPA updated specific data elements within the NPDES electronic reporting rule that apply to regulated municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4s) to be consistent with the current MS4 regulations, correct related typographical errors, and make other selected clarifications at the request of state NPDES permitting programs.

EPA proposed to postpone the compliance deadlines for implementation of phase two of the NPDES Electronic Reporting Rule by three years and provide states with additional flexibility to request additional time as needed; the Agency also proposed to revise the rule to clarify existing requirements and eliminate some duplicative or outdated reporting requirements. 

EPA proposed to update specific data elements within the NPDES Electronic Reporting Rule that apply to regulated municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4s) to reflect the MS4 General Permit Remand Rule.
