The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality proposed to adopt Idaho Admin. Code r. 58.01.01, concerning air pollution control. The adoption would reauthorize fees for crop residue burning, industrial or commercial air pollution source permit applications, and motor vehicle inspections. Comments are due September 25, 2019. The proposed amendments would allow farmers to pay the required fees for crop residue burning after burning instead of prior to burning.
