The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission proposed to adopt Fla. Admin. Code Ann. r. 68A-16.006. The proposed adoption would establish regulations related to the use, placement, possession, and transport of bird traps to prevent illegal trapping of migratory birds. The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission proposed amendments to Fla. Admin. Code Ann. r. 68A-16.006. The proposed amendments would establish regulations regarding the use, placement, possession, and transport of bird traps to prevent illegal trapping of migratory birds, and provide exceptions to the regulations, such as for persons possessing a federal permit or falconry permit and those engaged in activities authorized under Fla. Admin. Code Ann. r. 68A-9.010, 68A-9.012, or 68A-12. A hearing will be held May 1-2, 2019.
