The Utah Department of Environmental Quality proposed amendments to Utah Admin. Code r. 307-401, concerning testing requirements for new and modified sources of air pollution. The amendments would allow sources to discontinue testing after three years of operation if testing demonstrates the emissions have consistently remained below exemption levels and clarify that sub-slab vapor mitigation systems are exempt from the rule’s testing requirements. A hearing will be held January 15, 2020. Comments are due that same date.
The Air Quality Control Commission proposed amendments to 5 Colo. Code Regs. §1001-5. The proposed amendments would increase air pollutant emission notice filing fees, permit processing fees, and annual emissions fees, in accordance with House Bill 18-1400, to address revenue shortage and fund existing programs. A hearing will be held October 18, 2018. Comments are due October 1, 2018. See https://www.sos.state.co.us/CCR/Upload/NoticeOfRulemaking/ProposedRuleA….
