The Department of Conservation proposed amendments to Mo. Code Regs. tit. 3, §10-4.111, Endangered Species. This amendment adds one bat species and five mussel species to the state endangered species list. The bat species (northern long-eared bat) were recently listed as threatened under the federal ESA due to significant declines in Missouri. The five mussel species (spectaclecase, Neosho mucket, rabbitsfoot, salamander mussel, and slippershell mussel) are being added because the are currently are listed under the ESA or are being considered for listing. Public comments will be accepted until November 2, 2016. See https://www.sos.mo.gov/CMSImages/AdRules/moreg/current/v41n19Oct3/v41n19a.pdf (p. 1300).
