Iowa: Waste (generally)

The Iowa Environmental Protection Commission intends to amend Iowa Admin. Code r. 105 and r. 113, regarding composting facilities and groundwater protection at sanitary landfills for municipal solid waste. The amendments would change the definition of “yard waste” and change the requirements for the sorting of yard waste. A public hearing will be held on June 14, 2016.
