The Department of Water Resources has initiated rulemaking procedures for 37.03.03.010.49, regarding Rules and Minimum Standards for the Construction and Use of Injection Wells. The rule revision will ensure consistency between 37.03.03 and Section 42-3902(10), Idaho Code as it pertains to the definition of an “injection well.” The deadline for requesting a public hearing is September 17, 2014, and the deadline for comment is September 24, 2014.
