The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment proposed to add a new section to Cal. Code Regs. tit. 27, §7. The proposed addition would state that exposures to Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act-listed chemicals in coffee that are produced as part of and inherent in the processes of roasting coffee beans and brewing coffee pose no significant risk of cancer.
