Delacroix Corp. v. Becerra

ELR Citation: 50 ELR 20007
Nos. 2:19-cv-02488-KJM-CKD, (E.D. Cal., 12/22/2019) (Mueller, J.)

A district court temporarily blocked a California law banning the import and sale of alligator and crocodile products. The court noted, however, that the California Department of Fish and Wildlife can continue to enforce laws that bar the importation of alligator and crocodile bodies and body parts that are prohibited under the ESA. The temporary restraining order remains in force until 30 days after the motions for preliminary injunction are denied or a final judgment adverse to plaintiffs is awarded, whichever comes first.
