The Alabama Department of Environmental Management proposed amendments to Ala. Admin. Code r. 335-13-1-.03, -13-4-.12, -13-4-.21 to .23, -13-4-.27, -13-5-.02 to .03, -13-14-.07, and -13-15-.09. The proposed amendments would incorporate changes to ensure consistency with state and federal statutes, and provide clarification of state requirements for the management of solid waste. Alabama: Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA)

The Alabama Department of Environmental Management proposed amendments to Ala. Admin. Code r. 335-7-2-.10. The proposed amendments would allow the Department to require monitoring of certain contaminants in drinking water for which health advisories or toxicity values have been issued. Florida: Water (generally)

The Southwest Florida Water Management District proposed amendments to Fla. Admin. Code Ann. r. 40D-8.624. The proposed amendments would adopt revised minimum and guidance levels for Lake Brant in Hillsborough County to support the District's water supply planning, water use permitting, and environmental resource permitting programs. Illinois: Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)

The Pollution Control Board proposed amendments to Ill. Admin. Code tit. 35, §§703, 720 to 725, 727, 733, and 739. The proposed amendments would update the Illinois hazardous waste rules to incorporate amendments adopted by EPA. Comments are due April 15, 2019. The Pollution Control Board proposed amendments to Ill. Admin. Code tit. 35, §§1420 to 1422. The proposed amendments would remove legalese, remove redundant and superfluous language, and reorganize provisions from the Board's potential infectious medical waste rules. Nebraska: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Nebraska Environmental Quality Council proposed amendments to Title 129, Nebraska Air Quality Regulations. The proposed amendments would eliminate language referring to supersession of previously issued operating and construction permits to clarify that such permits do not lapse when a subsequent operating permit is issued. The Nebraska Environmental Quality Council proposed amendments to Title 115, Rules of Practice and Procedure. The proposed amendments would, among other things, delete definitions and incorporate model rules of agency procedure promulgated by the Attorney General. A hearing will be held April 3, 2019. Nebraska: Clean Water Act (CWA)

The Nebraska Environmental Quality Council proposed amendments to Title 117, Nebraska Surface Water Quality Standards. The proposed amendments would, among other things, revise and update the state's water quality standards, update designated use classifications of certain streams, clarify that point source discharges from livestock sources are prohibited, and update and revise pollutants. The Nebraska Environmental Quality Council proposed amendments to Title 131, Rules and Regulations for the Wastewater Treatment Facilities and Drinking Water Construction Assistance Programs. The proposed amendments would, among other things, revise definitions, include provisions on interest rates and administrative fees, and add new provisions related to environmental assessments.
