Ohio: Endangered Species

The Department of Natural Resource, Division of Wildlife proposes amendments to Ohio Admin. Code 1501:31-23-01, Special Endangered Wild Animal Regulations. The proposed amendments would adjust rules concerning the taking, possession, management and protection of wild and captive held animals that are the responsibility of the division. New Mexico: Radiation

The Environmental Improvement Board proposes amendments to N.M. Code R. §20.3, Radiation Protection Regulations. The proposed amendments would align certain provisions within the state regulations with mandatory federal requirements. A public hearing will be held April 28, 2017, at 9:30 am. Montana: Invasive Species

The Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks proposes amendments to Mont. Admin. R. 12.11.341, Aquatic Invasive Species. The proposed amendments would further prevent the spread of aquatic invasive mussels in Montana waters. A public hearing will be held on March 14, 2017, at 6:00 pm. Florida: Quality

The Department of Environmental Protection proposes revision to Fla. Admin. Code Ann. r. 62-660.400, Effluent Limitations. The proposed revisions adopts and incorporates by reference changes made to the federal effluent limitation guidelines and standards applicable to the steam electric power generating point source category of NPDES dischargers, among other things. Florida: Natural Resources (generally)

The Department of Economic Opportunity proposes additions to Fla. Admin. Code Ann. r. 73C-40, Community Planning: Rules of Procedure and Practice Pertaining To Developments of Regional Impact. The addition would create the Florida Environmental Land and Water Management Act, which provides for the protection of the state’s natural resources and environment and designates the Department as a land planning agency responsible for enforcing and administering the rules and regulations of the Act. Public comments will be accepted until March 6, 2017.

The Department of Environmental Protection proposes to amend Fla. Admin. Code Ann. r. 62-210.310, Air General Permits. The rule amendment will allow units that meet NESHAPs requirements to maintain permit exemptions. Public comment will be accepted until March 10, 2017. Colorado: Wildlife (generally)

The Department of Natural Resources proposes revisions to 2 Colo. Code Regs. §406-11, Wildlife Parks And Unregulated Wildlife. The revision would add the two-toed sloth, the eastern gray kangaroo, western gray kangaroo, and agile wallaby to the unregulated wildlife list.
