New York: Toxic Substances (generally)

The Department of Environmental Conservation proposes amendments to N.Y. Env Law §14-17-00001-P, Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Radioactive Materials. The amendments would contribute to meeting the legislative goals, including applying a constraint on emissions to the air that is lower than the current limit. Toxic Substances (generally)

New Jersey: Quality

The Department of Environmental Protection proposes amendments to N.J. Stat. Ann. §7:9C-1.7, Ground Water Quality Standards. The amendments would incorporate interim specific groundwater quality criteria or 23 constituents of groundwater. A public hearing is scheduled for May 5, 2017. Idaho: Quality

The Department of Environmental Quality proposes amendments to Idaho Code Ann. §58.01.02, Water Quality Standards. The proposed amendments would take into account the effects of selenium bioaccumulation in aquatic systems and replace existing standards that are generally under-protective of aquatic life. Idaho: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Environmental Quality proposes amendments to Idaho Code Ann. §58.01.01, Control of Air Pollution. The amendments would update the rule to comply with federal regulation. A public meeting is scheduled for May 2, 2017. See https://adminrules.idaho.gov/bulletin/2017/04.pdf (p 41).

The Department of Natural Resources proposes amendments to Ga. Code Ann. §391-3-1, Air Quality Control. The proposed amendments would update the rule to comply with the CAA.
