Idaho: Quality

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality is proposing to amend Idaho Admin. Code r. 58.01.02, regarding water quality standards. The current proposal would update Idaho’s human health criteria for 104 toxic substances. A public hearing will be held on October 27, 2015. Written comments will be accepted until November 6, 2015. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is seeking public input on Fla. Admin. Code. Ann. r. 62-780, regarding the application of Risk-Based Corrective Action principles. More specifically, the workshop will focus on Incremental Sampling Methodology, leachability, apportionment, and emergency and interim response actions. Florida: Waste

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is seeking public comment on Fla. Admin. Code Ann. r. 62-777.100, 62-777.150, and 62-777.170, regarding its plan to review and update existing methods for establishing cleanup target levels, regarding both methods of calculation and the parameters used. Florida: Water

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is planning to adopt Fla. Admin. Code Ann. r. 5M-19.001-.004 to develop and implement a best management practices manual for Florida’s poultry industry. A development workshop will be held if requested in writing. Wisconsin: Air

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is proposing to revise Wis. Admin. Code NR §100-199 and NR §400-499, regarding air pollution control regulations. The amendments would align Wisconsin’s policy with that of U.S. EPA, repeal obsolete rules, and amend legislation that affects small businesses. A public hearing will be held on November 5, 2015. Virginia: Pesticides

The Virginia Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services is considering whether to amend 2 Va. Admin. Code §5-670, Rules and Regulations for Enforcement of the Virginia Pesticide Law. The amendments would update the current regulation to better align with federal requirements and agency practices. Topics under consideration include clarifying regulation requirements for pesticide and fertilizer mixtures, amending and clarifying labeling requirements, and amending ingredient requirements, among others. The public comment period ends on November 4, 2015.

Utah: Quality

The Utah Department of Environmental Quality is proposing to amend Utah Admin. Code R309-500-6 and R309-502-7. The changes would make more specific the requirements for general disinfection and chlorination in public water systems. Written comments will be accepted until 5 pm on November 2, 2015. Pennsylvania: Clean Water Act (CWA)

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is seeking public input on its draft Assessment and Listing Methodology plan. The plan will outline the procedures used to assess the quality of waters in Pennsylvania as required under CWA §§303(d) and 205(b). Written comments will be accepted until November 17, 2015. Oregon: Mining

The Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries is proposing to amend Or. Admin. R. 632-030-0016, -0017, and -0022, regarding mining operations. The amendments would address the 2015 legislation regarding the need for certain mining operations to have an exclusion certificate. Written comments will be accepted until 5 pm on October 21, 2015. Oregon: Endangered Species

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is proposing to amend rules in Or. Admin. R. 635-100. The proposal seeks to remove the gray wolf from the Oregon List of Endangered Species. A public hearing will be held on November 9, 2015. Written comments will be accepted until the close of the hearing.
