Vermont: Quality

The Vermont Clean Water Fund Board seeks public comment on proposals for Clean Water Fund allocation priorities. Vermont’s Clean Water Fund provides additional funding for projects that target restoring and protecting the state’s water resources. South Carolina: Water

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control proposes to appeal S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 61-57, §44-55-822, regarding approval for onsite wastewater systems. South Carolina: Sustainability

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is proposing to amend S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 61-62, regarding air pollution regulations and standards. The changes would clarify exemptions and applicability for several air pollutants (including particulate matter and nitrogen) and include corrections for consistency, clarification, and formatting. Nevada: Sustainability

The Public Utilities Commission is proposing to amend Nev. Rev. Stat. §704.7821, related to the sale of portfolio energy credits. More specifically, the proposed amendments touch on renewable energy portfolio standards, selling portfolio energy credits, and related matters. Massachusetts: Administrative Law

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection will be holding three general listening sessions to inform and receive feedback from the public on the upcoming amendment process for 18 regulatory packages as per Executive Order 562 to reduce unnecessary regulatory burden. The Department will accept for review written comments that were received prior to the listening sessions. Listening sessions will be held on September 29 and 30 and on October 1.

Louisiana: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality is proposing to amend La. Admin. Code tit. 33, §III.502, regarding the definition of "title I modification" under CAA §111. The proposed change would limit the title 1 modifications to modifications that include physical or operational changes to an existing facility. A public hearing will be held on October 28, 2015. Clean Air Act (CAA)

Louisiana: Hazardous Substances

The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality is intending to amend La. Admin. Code tit. 33, §§109, 4911, and 4915, regarding disposal of cathode ray tubes. The Department is proposing to adopt corresponding federal regulations to comply with a federal grant regulation from U.S. EPA. A public hearing will be held on October 28, 2015. Illinois: Quality

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to amend Ill. Admin. Code tit. 35, §365, regarding procedures for water pollution control loans. The amendments would establish affordability criteria to help the agency identify municipalities most in need of assistance. Written comments will be accepted until November 9, 2015. Georgia: Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA)

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is proposing amendments to Georgia’s Rules for Safe Drinking Water, Chapter 391-3-5. The amendments would incorporate U.S. EPA’s Revised Total Coliform Rule (2013). A public hearing will be held on October 13, 2015. Written comments will be accepted until October 23, 2015. The District of Columbia’s Department of Energy and Environment is seeking public input and comments on its Weatherization Assistant Program Draft State Plan.
