Wyoming: Ground water

The Department of Environmental Quality is proposing to amend 008, 013, 016, and 027 Wyo. Code R. regarding groundwater. Changes would update groundwater and underground injection standards. Wisconsin: Environmental Law and Policy/Governance

The Department of Natural Resources is proposing to amend various portions of Wis. Admin. Code NR §150 regarding environmental analysis of state actions. Among other changes, the amendments would clarify actions considered "minor" and not requiring environmental analysis, including emergency rules. A public hearing will be held June 2, 2015, and the deadline for comment is June 4, 2015.

West Virginia: Land Use

Virginia: Clean Water Act (CWA)

The Water Control Board is proposing to amend 9 Va. Admin. Code §§25-115-10 through 25-115-50 regarding NPDES permits for seafood processors. Changes would reissue a general permit for discharges from seafood processing facilities set to expire in July 2016. Utah: Radiation

The Department of Environmental Quality is proposing to amend various portions Utah Admin. Code r.313 regarding radiation protection. Changes would make requirements for distributors of radioactive material clearer, redefine categories of devices to be used under exemptions, and bring the state into compliance with NRC regulations. Tennessee: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Environment and Conservation is proposing to amend Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 1200-03-02-.01 regarding compounds exempt from state air quality regulations. Changes would update the general exemption list and the VOC exemption list. See http://www.tn.gov/sos/rules_filings/04-24-15.pdf

South Carolina: Hazardous Substances

The Department of Health and Environmental Control is proposing to amend S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 61-107.279 regarding used oil. Changes would remove the requirement for used oil marketers to obtain a permit, and update the rules for consistency with federal regulations. The deadline for comment is May 26, 2015. See 39 S.C. South Carolina: Waste

The Department of Health and Environmental Control is proposing to amend S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 61-107.12 regarding solid waste incineration and pyrolysis facilities. Changes would clarify when consistency determinations will be issued and bring the rules into compliance with federal and state air quality regulations. The deadline for comment is May 26, 2015. The Department of Health and Environmental Control is proposing to amend S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 61-64 regarding radiation protection. Changes would strengthen equipment performance standards. The Department of Fish and Wildlife is proposing to amend Or. Admin. R. 496.162, 506.109 and 506.129 regarding pelagic fisheries. Changes would establish Pacific sardine seasons and bring state rules into compliance with federal regulations.
