Colorado: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Public Health and Environment is proposing to amend 5 Colo. Code Regs. §1001-10 regarding hazardous air pollutants. Changes would incorporate by reference the federal NESHAPs of the CAA for coal and oil-fired electric utility steam generating units. The Department of Public Health and Environment is proposing to amend 5 Colo. Code Regs. §1001-8 regarding standards of performance for stationary sources. Changes would align mercury emissions monitoring and reporting requirements for electric utility steam generating units with federal requirements under the CAA. A public hearing will be held February 19, 2015, and the deadline for written comment is February 5, 2015.

Arizona: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Environmental Quality is proposing to amend various sections of Ariz. Admin. Code §18-2 regarding air quality. The changes would update incorporations by reference for several federal regulations under the CAA. Alaska: Total maximum daily loads (TMDLs), §303(d)

The Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking public comment on a draft TMDL for fecal coliform in Cottonwood Creek in Wasilla. Coliform levels exceed water quality standards in a seven mile stretch of the water body. Alaska: Public lands

The Industrial Development and Export Authority is seeking public comment on the EIS process for the Ambler Mining District Industrial Access Road project. The proposed road would connect the mine site to the Dalton Highway, and pass through the Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve. Public hearings will be held on December 16 and 17, 2014.
