Minnesota: Quality

The Pollution Control Agency proposed to amend Minn. R. 7001 & 7005, Rules Governing Nondegradation of Water Quality. Changes would add 7001 to previous plans to amend the rules for compliance with federal regulations. The deadline for comment is April 5, 2013. Alaska: Fisheries

The Department of Fish and Game proposed to amend 5 Alaska Admin. Code §40.130, dealing with the permit application procedures for private nonprofit salmon hatcheries. Changes would alter the time period that the department is required to complete a management feasibility analysis. There will a public hearing March 22, 2013.


Ohio: Waste

The Environmental Protection Agency amended Ohio Admin. Code 3745.27, Rules Governing Infectious Waste. Amendments became effective March 1, 2013. See http://wwwapp.epa.ohio.gov/legal/pubnots/130222.pdf.

California: Toxic Substances

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment amended 27 Cal. Code Regs. §25705 to change the basis for listing actinomycin D under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 as a chemical known to cause cancer. California: Energy

The California Environmental Protection Agency proposed to amend Cal. Code Regs. tit. 27 §§15100-15620, the Unified Program Electronic Reporting regulations. Changes remove references to submission of paper documents and provide for the electronic reporting of required data. The deadline for comment is April 8, 2013. Maryland: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of the Environment amended Md. Code Regs. 26.11.34, Low Emissions Vehicle Program. Changes update Maryland's Clean Car regulations to reflect changes to California's Low Emission Vehicle Program. Amendments take effect March 4, 2013. Tennessee: Quality

The Environment and Conservation Agency amended Tenn. Admin. Code §0400.40.18, Rock Harvesting. The rulemaking incorporates amendments to the Tennessee Water Quality Control Act of 1977. The changes take effect May 16, 2013. See http://www.tn.gov/sos/rules_filings/02-33-13.pdf.


New Hampshire: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Environmental Services amended Env-A  2700, Hot Mix Asphalt Plants. Set to expire, the rules will continue in effect for the duration of the readoption proceeding.
