Wisconsin: Water

The Department of Natural Resources proposed to amend Wis. Admin. Code NR §§146 and 812. Changes pertain to property transfer well inspections, licensing of well filling and sealing contractors, registration of water well drilling rig operators, and citations for licensing and well and pump code violations. Wisconsin: Energy

The Department of Natural Resources proposed to amend Wis. Admin. Code NR §§146 and 812, pertaining to geothermal licensing. Changes revise the requirements for heat exchange drilling. Utah: Radiation

The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Utah Admin. Code r. 313.22.34, Issuance of Specific Licenses. Changes increase the renewal interval for specific radioactive materials licenses from 5 years to 10 years. The deadline for comment is December 31, 2013. The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Utah Admin. Code r. 307.214.3, Oil and Gas Sector: National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants. Changes incorporate new EPA standards into the Division of Air Quality rules. The deadline for comment is December 21, 2013. The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Utah Admin. Code r. 207.210.2, Oil and Gas Sector: New Source Performance Standards. Oregon: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Environmental Quality Commission amended Or. Admin. R. 340.200 and 340.202 in order to comply with CAA requirements and revise the Oregon SIP. Changes institute new standards for nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and lead. Amendments took effect November 7, 2013. Clean Air Act (CAA)

Oregon: Waste

The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Or. Admin. R. 340.230, 340.238, and 340.244 in order to adopt new federal air quality regulations. The amendment would implement new federal emission guidelines for commercial and industrial solid waste incineration units; adopt the federal plan for hospital, medical, and infectious waste incinerators; and institute new standards for boilers, stationary combustion engines, and nitric acid plants. Public hearings will be held on December 18, 2013, and the deadline for comment is December 23, 2013.

New Hampshire: Water

The Department of Environmental Services proposed to amend Env-Dw 723, Public Water Systems: Use of Non-Central Treatment. Changes clarify requirements and procedures for point-of-entry and point-of-use water treatments. A public hearing will be held on January 27, 2014, and the deadline for comment is February 4, 2014. New Hampshire: Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA)

The Department of Environmental Services proposed to amend Env-Dw 201-205, pertaining to the New Hampshire SDWA. Changes update the requirements for waivers to drinking water rules.
