Utah: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Utah Admin. Code r. 307.110.10, Control Measures for Area and Point Sources. Changes would expand the section, as seven Utah counties have been found by the EPA not to meet standards. Ohio: Water

The Environmental Protection Agency amended Ohio Admin. Code §3745.81, pertaining to surface water treatment rules. Changes add the definition for uncovered storage facility and clarify the Agency's primary enforcement authority. The amendments took effect October 5, 2013. Louisiana: Waste

Delaware: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control proposed to amend 7 Del. Admin. Code Ch. 60 §1125, Requirements for Preconstruction Review. Changes would alter the definition of "significance" to restore the significance level of nitrogen oxides. There will be a public hearing October 28, 2013. California: Toxic Substances

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment amended 27 Cal. Code Regs. §25902 to add chloramphenicol sodium succinate to the list of chemicals known to the state to cause cancer.
