Washington: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Ecology proposed to add Wash. Admin. Code §173.476. The rulemaking would adopt the current national ambient air quality standards into a new chapter. Iowa: Quality

The Soil Conservation Division proposed to add Iowa Admin. Code Ch. 16, Water Quality Initiative. The rulemaking would add a chapter for the Water Quality Initiative of the Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship providing rules for targeted watershed demonstration projects. Texas: Energy

The Commission on Environmental Quality amended 30 Tex. Admin. Code §106.359, Permits by Rule. Changes add a permit to authorize emissions from planned maintenance, startup, and shutdown activities and facilities at oil and gas handling and production facilities. Texas: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Commission on Environmental Quality proposed to amend 30 Tex. Admin. Code §111.211, Outdoor Burning. The revision would add prescribed burning for wildfire hazard mitigation as an exception to the outdoor burning prohibition. The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Mont. Admin. R. 36.12.01, regarding water right combined appropriation. Changes alter definitions and notices of completion. California: Energy

The Department of Conservation proposed to amend Cal. Code Regs. tit. 14 §6, pertaining to rules encouraging the development of solar facilities on marginal and impaired farmland through solar-use easements. The rulemaking outlines the procedural requirements that a project proponent must meet to place land under an easement. The deadline for comment is September 30, 2013.
