Indiana: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Air Pollution Control Board amended 326 Ind. Admin. Code §1.3.4, concerning NAAQS for nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide, and particulate matter, and §1.4.1, to add a definition for particulate matter. Changes took effect January 19, 2013. Florida: Energy

The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services proposed to amend 62 Fla. Admin. Code §5O.2, Renewable Energy Technology and Production Tax Incentive Programs. Changes would implement the renewable energy tax incentive programs authorized by the state legislature. The deadline for comment is February 6, 2013. Oklahoma: Agencies

The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Okla. Admin. Code §252.4, Rules of Practice and Procedure. Changes would update the rules to conform to recent revisions by the state legislature. The deadline for written comment is February 15, 2013, and there will be a public hearing February 22. North Carolina: Oceans

The Environmental Management Commission proposed to amend 15A N.C. Admin. Code 07I, pertaining to the reimbursement paid to local governments for costs associated with the implementation and enforcement programs associated with Coastal Area Management Act Minor Development permits. Washington: Air

The Department of Ecology amended Wash. Admin. Code §197.11, pertaining to the State Environmental Policy Act. Changes establish separate flexible exemption thresholds for local governments and clarify language related to "residential," "parking lot," and "landfill and excavation" categories of minor new construction. Florida: Fisheries

The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission proposed to add 68 Fla. Admin. Code §2.010, Saltwater Game Fish and Sport Fish Designations. The rule would increase public awareness of the need for conservation action to prevent recreational fish from declining and encourage voluntary conservation practices. Virginia: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Environmental Quality amended 9 Va. Admin. Code §§5.50, New and Modified Stationary Sources, and 5.60, Hazardous Air Pollutant Sources. Utah: Quality

The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to repeal Utah Admin. Code r. 655-7, Administrative Procedures for Notifying the State Engineer of Sewage Effluent Use or Change in the Point of Discharge for Sewage Effluent. Utah: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Environmental Quality added Utah Admin. Code r. 307.356, Appliance Pilot Light. The rule prohibits the sale of any natural gas-fired fan-type central furnaces, gas fireplaces, or gas stoves that require the use of a pilot light for ignition in PM2.5 nonattainment areas.
