Ohio: Waste

The Environmental Protection Agency proposed to amend Ohio Admin. Code §3745.50, .52, .54, & .65,  Hazardous Waste Report. Amendments change the report from annual to biennial. The deadline for comment is December 19, 2012. See http://wwwapp.epa.ohio.gov/legal/pubnots/121116.pdf.

Minnesota: Water

The Pollution Control Agency proposed to amend state rules governing the State Clean Water Partnership Financial Assistance Program and the Federal Nonpoint Source Management Program. Changes would alter administrative procedures for the partnership and the program to address statutory changes. The deadline for comment is December 20, 2012. District of Columbia: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of the Environment amended 20 D.C. Mun. Regs. §§1 & 2, General Rules & General and Non-Attainment Area Permits. Changes increase control measures for pollutants that cause ozone to maintain compliance with EPA rules. The rulemaking was approved November 1, 2012. Maryland: Invasive Species

The Department of Agriculture proposed to amend Md. Code Regs. 15.06.04, Regulation of Invasive Plants. Changes establish a risk assessment protocol to rank invasive plants and establish administrative procedures. The deadline for comment is December 17, 2012. Maryland: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of the Environment amended Md. Code Regs. 26.11.08, Control of Incinerators. Changes amend requirements pertaining to the compliance schedule for hospital, medical, infectious, and medical waste incinerators to provide flexibility in meeting compliance dates.
