Oregon: Energy

The Department of Energy adopted new sections of Or. Admin. R. 330.200 to provide an operating framework for a renewable energy development grant within the Energy Incentives Program. R. 330.220 to provide rules for the administration of the alternative fuel vehicle infrastructure tax credit within the Energy Incentives Program. The rule took effect August 1, 2012. The Department of Environmental Conservation proposed to amend N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. tit. 6, §248. Louisiana: Radiation

The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend La. Admin. Code §§33:XV.763 & 1599, Medical Use of Byproduct Material-Authorized User Clarification, to ensure consistency with federal rules. There will be a public hearing September 26, 2012. The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend La. Admin. Code §§33:III.5301, 5303 & 5307, Toxic Emissions Reporting Requirements, to eliminate reporting requirements for several hundred dry cleaning operators, electroplaters and solvent users, as the rules are outdated. The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend La. Admin. Code §33:III.2117 to add trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene to the list of compounds exempt from control requirements. Kentucky: Quality

The Energy and Environment Cabinet proposed to amend 400 Ky. Admin. Regs. 10, Water Quality Standards, to alter the definition and requirements for eutrophication. There will be a public hearing September 27, 2012, and the deadline for comment is October 1. Alabama: Water

The Department of Environmental Management amended Ala. Admin. Code r. 335.7.2, 4, .5, .6, & .10, pertaining to water systems. Changes make technical corrections and require the electronic submittal of documents and reports. Amendments were filed August 21, 2012. Kansas: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Department of Health and Environment proposed to amend Kan. Admin. Regs. §28.19 to implement revised NAAQS for fine particulate matter and incorporate the deferral for carbon emissions from bioenergy under the PSD Program.
