Nebraska: Clean Air Act (CAA)

Texas: Enforcement and Compliance

Utah: Agencies

Washington: Forests

The Department of Ecology proposed to amend Wash. Admin. Code §222, Forest Practices Board, to remove inconsistencies between forest practices regulations and forest practices laws. The Department of Ecology proposed to amend Wash. Admin. Code §173.204, pertaining to sediment management standards. There will be public hearings September 26- October 4, 2012, and the deadline for comment is October 15. The date of intended adoption is December 14. Washington: Hazardous Substances

The Department of Ecology proposed to amend Wash. Admin. Code §173.183, Preassessment screening and oil spill compensation schedule regulations. Among other changes, the amendments will alter the amount of compensation that can be calculated for spills of 1,000 gallons or more from $1 to $100 per gallon to $3 to $300 per gallon. There will be public hearings September 25 & 26, 2012, and the deadline for comment is October 4. The date of intended adoption is December 14.

The Department of Ecology proposed to amend Wash. Admin. Code §173.182, Oil spill contingency plan. Changes would update the state's preparedness plan and establish a volunteer coordination system, among other changes. There will be public hearings September 25 & 27, 2012, and the deadline for comment is October 4. The date of intended adoption is December 14.
