Nevada: Quality

Minnesota: Climate Change

The Pollution Control Agency proposed to amend Minn. R. 7005, 7007, & 7011, pertaining to greenhouse gas permit requirements. Changes would adopt the federal requirements. West Virginia: Waste

The Division of Water and Waste Management proposed to amend W. Va. Admin. Code §33.12, Covered Electronic Devices Recycling Rule, and .27, Hazardous Waste Administrative Proceedings and Civil Penalty Assessment. There will be a public hearing August 7, 2012. West Virginia: Air

Texas: Air

The Commission on Environmental Quality added 30 Tex. Admin. Code §§342.1, 342.25, & 342.26, Regulation of Certain Aggregate Production Operations. The rule would implement a new statute that exempts certain production operations from requirements and mandates new requirements for the Commission. The rule took effect July 5, 2012. Texas: Air

The Commission on Environmental Quality amended 30 Tex. Admin. Code §§114.7 & 114.64, Control of Air Pollution from Motor Vehicles. Changes implement the requirements of a house bill, and pertain to assistance for low-income individuals for repairs, retrofits, and retirement of vehicles that fail inspection. New York: Invasive Species

The Department of Environmental Conservation amended N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. tit. 6, §192, Firewood Restrictions to Protect Forests from Invasive Species. Kentucky: Clean Air Act (CAA)

The Energy and Environment Cabinet proposed to amend 400 Ky. Admin. Regs. 51, Attainment and Maintenance of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards. Delaware: Clean Water Act (CWA)

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control proposed to amend 7 Del. Admin. Code §7201, Surface Water Discharges Section. Amendments are the result of a circuit court ruling determining that the application of biological and chemical pesticides with residuals to waters regulated under CWA must be regulated by an NPDES permit. There will be a public hearing July 30, 2012.

Clean Water Act (CWA)

Colorado: Water

The Water Quality Control Commission amended 5 Colo. Code Regs. §1002.55, Water Quality Improvement Fund. Changes reflect amended laws that authorize grants for stormwater management training and best practices training to prevent or reduce the pollution of state waters.
