California: Toxic Substances

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment proposed amendments to 27 Cal. Code Regs. §§25705 & 25805 to change the levels of no significant risk and no observable effect for polychlorinated biphenyls. The deadline for comment is May 28, 2012. California: Waste

The Department of Toxic Substances Control proposed to adopt 22 Cal. Code Regs. §66269.2, Disaster Victims Hazardous Waste Fee Exemption. The rule would exempt victims of disasters from paying state hazardous waste generator and disposal fees for waste generated as a result of a disaster. The deadline for comment is May 29, 2012.
