The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is proposing to amend S.C. Code Ann. §R.61-105, regarding the management of infectious waste. The changes would require facilities to notify the department of the treatment process that they use, establish reporting timeframes, and expand the application of the rule, among other changes.
