Citizens for Responsible Equitable Envtl. Dev. v. San Diego Redevelopment Agency, City of
Citation: 35 ELR 20244
No. No. D045274, (Cal. App. 4th Dist., 11/30/2005)
A court holds that a city need not prepare an environmental impact report (EIR) under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for a hotel project in San Diego, California. The potential environmental impacts of the project were adequately examined in two earlier EIRs for a city redevelopment plan and for a baseball stadium, and the CEQA does not require the preparation of a separate EIR under the circumstances of this case.
