Settling CAA defendants that exceeded emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) at their petroleum storage facility in South Portland, Maine, must pay a $40,000 civil penalty, perform a supplemental environmental project involving the replacement of old wood stoves with cleaner units, and perform certain measures at the facility to address past VOC emissions and limit future VOC emissions.
